Congratulations!!
It's time for Pregnancy Yoga.
Pregnancy is one of the most powerful experiences you will ever have, and doing yoga during this time will help you enjoy it.
When practicing at home, with or without added heat, use a gentle to moderate level of intensity and rest or sip water whenever you need it. The goal of yoga during pregnancy is maintaining an awesome level of health for you and your baby- not to be some kind of superhero! Save the pushing for labor. ;)

About Pregnancy Yoga
Rajashree's Pregnancy Yoga, created by world-renowned yoga teacher and yoga therapist Rajashree Choudhury, is the prenatal yoga practice we teach at HHY. Because it includes most of the Bikram Yoga sequence of exercises we love, it can be practiced during any Bikram Yoga class. It can also (see above!) be practiced on its own as a 1-hour class. Learn more about Pregnancy Yoga here.
For a deeper understanding of the postures, get the book Rajashree's Pregnancy Yoga. For additional tips, check out this blog post from studio owner Kay, who practiced 5-6 days a week throughout both her pregnancies.

Always consult your medical provider before beginning a new exercise regimen. If your pregnancy is high risk or you have any complications, please especially follow your medical provider's advice.
