MAKING A ROOM
Do you live in a basement, studio apartment or garage? No matter what kind of space you're working with, there's a way to make it work for yoga. This page is essentially a "how-to" on building temporary walls within your space.
Simplest, cheapest way:
First, find a corner or nook in your room that you could close off with a long straight curtain hung from the ceiling. If so, this curtain rod telescopes from 6 ft to 12 ft in length. The same link will send you to options ranging from 4 feet long up to 20 feet long.
Depending on the curtain you use, which we'll cover later, you may want these ring clips to connect the curtain to the rod rather than running the rod through the curtain itself.
Did you know you could even hang a curtain rod from the ceiling?? You can. These curtain rod ceiling mounts will help you with that.

Spend a bit more, lose less heat:
While the above option gets the job done, due to the gap from the ceiling to the rod and rod to the curtain you'll be losing a lot of heat!
Here is an option which may require more initial set up, but will cut out a lot of that gap and hold in more heat. This straight ceiling track will, depending on the curtain, have less than a 1 inch gap between the ceiling and curtain. The track also comes in lengths of 6-12 feet with other options from 3 feet up to 36 feet long.
You'll still need something to hold up the curtain. These hooks are designed to work with the above track system. You can also buy clips should you have a curtain that needs them.
If these solve your problem, awesome-sauce! Click here to look at the best curtains. If a straight curtain wall ain't gonna cut it, read on below! If you can't get the square peg through the round hole you probably need a bigger hammer!

Let's get a little crafty... You know the ceiling track we mentioned above? That same brand also offers tracks with corners (both 90° and 45° corners) that can work connected to straight tracks. That means it's possible to make your own little sweating spot along any wall by connecting three short tracks and two 90° corners or heck just make a room right smack in the middle of your place with 4 straight tracks and 4 corners!
The possibilities are endless and completely up to how bada** you want to feel about this!
Here's the link again for the straight track. Here's the 90° corner. And here's the 45° corner. Don't forget the hooks or clips designed for the system! If those don't work, it may be time to construct an actual wall- or change where you live! Both of those are outside the scope of this website, but you can find some assistance here.
